My research aims to elucidate ecological drivers for PFAS uptake into fish, specifically waterbody and species characteristics that may be driving bioaccumulation and bioconcentration. From there, I want to further our understanding of ecologically relevant PFAS concentrations effect on RNA and protein production in fish, while elucidating mechanisms of action and adverse outcome pathways.
